Course Studied: Level 3 Production Arts Practice

Destination: LIPA - BA (hons) in Theatre & Production Technology

Role: CAMP AMERICA - Set Shop counsellor

I am currently at Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts studying a BA (hons) in Theatre & Production Technology.

At LIPA I have gained a more understanding of lighting and sound, which will improve my role in construction and stage management. Currently at LIPA, I am working with the designers to build their set and help it to come to life, which has been challenging but enjoyable at the same time, learning how to create a budget list and working out how to build difficult parts of the design.

In the summer holiday I have secured a place at Buck's Rock Performing and Creative Arts Camp in Connecticut, where I will be a counsellor for Set Shop. During this time, I will be building shows and teaching the students how to use tools and design sets, where I hope can give them an enjoyable holiday and hopefully influence them to join the industry when they're older.
